What is myHUB?
Hughes Unified Banking, or myHUB, allows you to sync your financial accounts in order to track, monitor and learn from your finances in one convenient, user-friendly site. From personalized budgets to cash flow spending wheels, we’ll give you an
accurate and comprehensive view of your finances. By automatically cleansing, categorizing and classifying your purchases, you’ll be able to build your own budgets and set your own goals, all within the app.

How can I see the status of my loan or account application?
Visit our
application status portal to check the status of your application, upload documents, or send us questions or comments.
What information and documents do I need to apply for an account or loan?
You will need the following information to complete an application online or in a branch:
- Social Security Number
- A valid form of government issued identification more than 30 days old
- Previous address if at current address less than two years
- Joint Applicant/Co-Borrower information (if applicable)
- If applying for membership: Information to fund your new account (existing HFCU member number, account and routing number from another financial institution, or a credit/debit card)
- If applying for a loan: Previous employer information (if at current employer less than two years), Proof of income, and Collateral information (secured loan requests only).

How do I make a car payment?
Hughes offers a number of ways to make your car payment. Visit the Make a Payment page for details.
Do you provide notary services?
Yes. Notary services are available to Hughes members at no charge. Stop by any Hughes branch during regular business hours. No appointment is necessary to see a notary public, however, if you have several documents to be notarized, we encourage you to schedule an appointment at the branch most convenient to you.
How can I change the PIN on my debit card?
To change your Hughes debit card PIN, bring your card to any Hughes branch during business hours and speak with the receptionist, or log in to your Online Banking account and navigate to the myCards page.
How do I find Shared Branch / ATM locations?
Use our Location Finder to search for a CO-OP Shared Branch or surcharge-free ATM near you.
How do I report fraud on my account?
Do you offer discounts to theme parks?
Hughes members with a Checking PLUS account have access to Benefits Plus which offers discounted tickets to theme parks and attractions.
How do I add a joint owner to my account?
If you would like to add a new joint owner to your existing membership you have several options:
- Use the online Add a Joint Owner Application (fastest and easiest).
- Come into a branch together and a Member Services Representative can assist you. Be sure to bring one form of ID, being a government issued ID such as a U.S. driver's license.
- Call 520-794-8341 and request that the form be mailed to you.
How do I remove a joint owner from my account?
The easiest option is to have all current membership owners come into a branch together to complete the necessary documentation. A member service representative will walk you through the process.
If everyone isn't available to visit a branch:
- The joint owner needs to complete a Disclaimer to Remove Joint Owner form and give it to the primary member. This must be notarized if not signed in a branch.
- The primary member needs to complete a new Application for Membership form with all remaining joint owners. This also must be notarized if not signed in a branch.
- The primary member will need to submit both forms along with valid, government-issued identification to the Member Services Department for processing.
You may come into any of our branches or call and request that the forms be mailed to you.
NOTE: If the joint owner is a co-borrower on an outstanding loan, we may not be able to remove them from the membership.
How can I transfer funds from another financial institution into my Hughes account?
- In the Hughes mobile app or online banking, click Transfers > External Transfers.
- Deposit a check from your other financial institution to your Hughes account. Check holds may apply.
- Mail a Bill Payment from your other financial institution to Hughes.
- Send an ACH transfer from your other financial institution to Hughes.
- Initiate a wire transfer from your other financial institution to Hughes.
What should I do if I forget my password for Online Banking?
Click the "Forgot Password" link on the login page to reset your password. You will be prompted to authenticate via text or phone call to confirm your identity. You can then reset your password.
For your security, a complex password is required. Passwords must be 12 to 32 characters long and must contain all of the following: a lowercase letter (a-z), an uppercase letter (A-Z), a digit (0-9), and a special character (~!@#$%^&*()[]{}<>_+-=/|\.,:;`'"?).”
How do I set up direct deposit?
To set up direct deposit at your work, contact your employer's payroll department and provide the following information:

Your member number and whether the deposit is going into your Checking or Main Share Savings. If the deposit is going into your Daily Savings, please include -08 after your member number.
Social Security recipients can call the Social Security Administration at 800-772-1213 or go to ssa.gov to have funds directly deposited into their Hughes account.
How can I view a copy of a canceled check?
To view a copy of your canceled check, log into online or mobile banking and click on your checking account name, search for the desired check transaction, then View Check.
You may visit one of our branches or call the credit union at 520-794-8341 to place an order for the check copy(ies). Depending on the amount of research needed to complete your request, you may be charged fees – typically $3.00 per check and research fees are $15.00 per hour.
How can I find my member or account number?
- Visit one of our branches and show valid government-issued identification.
- Request the information by calling our Member Contact Center at 520-794-8341. You must provide your name, phone access password, and answer additional identification questions before our employees release this information to you.
- Locate a copy of your Credit Union statement. Your member number is on the statement.
- Log in to your Online Banking account and view your Accounts page.
Can I get my 1098 or 1099 tax forms online?
Yes. Login to Online Banking, click Accounts > Statements and Documents > Tax Forms and select your current statement. On the drop-down menu at the top, select the tax form.
If you did not receive your tax forms, it could be for one of the following reasons:
- We do not have your correct mailing address on file.
- You did not earn more than $10 in dividend/interest income for the year.
- You did not pay more than $600 in interest on a home equity or mortgage loan.
If none of these three reasons apply to your membership, please call 520-794-8341 to submit a request for a duplicate tax form. Please have your member number and phone access password available when you call.
How do Overdrawn / Overdraft services work?
If you write a check, use your debit card, or have an electronic withdrawal (ACH) overdraw your account, Overdrawn Protection will automatically transfer money from your Main Share Savings to your Checking PLUS or Checking account. This service is free to use.
If you don't have enough money to cover your transaction with any of your Overdrawn Protection accounts, that’s when Overdraft Privilege kicks in – available for Checking PLUS and Checking Accounts. That means Hughes will pay the item for you, saving you the embarrassment and inconvenience of bouncing a check, missing your loan payment, or not being able to pay for your meal. There is a $30 fee for each transaction paid with Overdraft Privilege.
Overdraft Privilege covers checks and electronic withdrawal (ACH) transactions. You can also opt in to extend your Overdraft Privilege to cover ATM and one-time debit card transactions as well by visiting a branch near you or calling us at 520-794-8341.
NOTE: Checking PLUS accounts come with up to $750 Overdraft Privilege and Checking accounts come with up to $600 (including fees). Payment by Hughes is a discretionary courtesy and not a right of the account holder or an obligation of Hughes. Some restrictions apply.

How can I find my loan payoff information?
You will need to contact the Credit Union in order to calculate your final loan payoff amount, or use the loan payoff tool in your Online Banking account.

- Submit a message within Hughes Online Banking or Mobile App, or use the Secure Email Portal
- Send your request by Fax to 520-696-4260
Are there any penalty fees for paying off my loan early?
No.
Will I receive a paper title from the MVD upon paying off my vehicle loan?
No. As of April 1, 2020, the Arizona Motor Vehicle Division (MVD) will no longer mail paper titles. Once you pay off your vehicle loan, the credit union will release the lien within 7-10 business days. In Arizona and some other states, your title now appears in their systems electronically. Please visit the ADOT Vehicle Title and Registration page for more information. If you want a paper title, call the Arizona MVD at 602-255-0072 and request one to be mailed to you for a $4 fee. If your unit is titled in a state other than Arizona, please contact your local motor vehicle department.
Where can I submit proof of insurance?
Is online notarizing safe?
Yes, our vendor, Proof, is the only signature platform with Enhanced Signer Identification. It protects you from forgery and provides evidence of identity.
Do I need a cosigner?
To find out whether you need a co-signer, please apply online or at a branch, and a loan officer will contact you.
How do I deposit cash after a branch closes?
If you have a debit card or ATM card, you can visit an ATM and make your deposit. ATM holds may apply.
How do I change my loan due date?
To change your due date, you must have made your first loan payment and not changed it in the last 12 months. Submit your request by completing a
Due Date Change Request Form.
How do I change the beneficiary on an account?
Any changes to beneficiaries require a signature. Please visit a branch or call us at 520-794-8341 so we can assist with completing the applicable forms, or send us a secure email by logging in to your account online.
Do you offer a skip-a-payment?
We do offer loan extensions.

What items can I consolidate with a Debt Consolidation Loan?
With a debt consolidation loan, you can pay off anything you want to include, personal loans or lines of credit, credit cards, auto loans, medical bills, student loans, etc.
Do you offer payday loans?
We do not offer Payday Loans, but we do offer Personal Loans.

What does NSF mean?
Non-sufficient funds (NSF), sometimes called insufficient funds, describe when you don’t have enough money in your account to cover a transaction.
How much cash can I receive in the drive-thru?
The drive-thru cash limit is $3,000.
Is there a limit on how much I can transfer between accounts?
For transfers between your Hughes accounts, there are no limits. For External Transfers to/from another financial institution, there are limits based on previous activity and the history of your account.
What is the maximum limit for overdrawn protection?
The maximum limit for Overdrawn Protection is the available balance in your Main Share Savings, Daily Savings, and Line of Credit.
Do you offer an integration with Chime?
Unfortunately, we do not support Chime. You would need to contact them for questions. We do, however, offer services through Zelle.
Do you offer Western Union services?
Hughes does not send or receive Western Union services.
How do I cancel an auto draft from my account?
Please
contact us during normal business hours, and we can review your account to cancel your automatic payments.
What is risk-based lending?
Risk-based lending involves setting a tiered pricing structure that assigns loan rates to individuals based on their credit risk. Hughes is not a risk-based lender. All members receive the same interest rates on certain loans.
Do you offer any commercial loans?
No, we do not offer any commercial loans at this time.
When will I receive my welcome packet?
You will receive your welcome package for your loan within 30 days of funding. If you have not received your information, please
contact us during normal business hours, and we can email or mail it to you.
Does Hughes offer business accounts for an LLC?
We do not currently offer Business Memberships for Limited Liability Corporations (LLCs).
Does Hughes exchange foreign currency?
We do not currently exchange foreign currency.
Does Hughes offer coin-counting machines?
Coin counting machines are available at all branch locations. Hughes members are charged a 5% fee deducted from the total coin amount processed. For Shared Branching members, the fee is 10%. Users must be a Hughes member or a part of the Shared Branch Network to access this service.
Does Hughes offer VISA Gift Cards?
We do not currently offer VISA gift cards.
What branches offer night drop boxes?
Night drop boxes are available at the following Hughes branch locations: Hermans, Pantano, Speedway, Wetmore, and Vail. Our Cortaro and Thornydale branches do not have night drop boxes available at this time.
Does Hughes offer Medallion Stamps?

Is my online application secure?
Yes, your application is secure. Your information is encrypted and protected using industry-standard security measures.
What is the timeline for a credit or debit card dispute?
For Debit card disputes, please call 1-520-794-8341 and for Credit Card disputes please call 1-866-691-4731.
Does Hughes offer money orders?
We no longer offer money orders, but we do offer cashier's checks.
