What is Earn to Learn?

Earn to Learn is the largest matched-savings scholarship program in the U.S., designed to help low-to-moderate income students afford college.

When you save for school, your money is matched, multiplying your effort into real tuition support.

How the Program Works

  1. Apply and qualify for the Earn to Learn program
  2. Open a matched savings account
  3. Save consistently toward your education
  4. Receive matching funds up to $4,000 per year
  5. Use funds for:

    • Fees
    • Approved education expenses

How to get started

Step 1: Learn more about the Earn to Learn eligibility requirements and apply online by visiting, earntolearn.org.  

Step 2: If accepted into the program, you can begin your application to open an Earn to Learn Membership and an Earn to Learn savings account. You can stop by any of our seven branch locations or apply online. 

Please have the following ready to open your Earn to Learn savings account:

One (1) form of personal identification

  • The form of ID must be non-expired government-issued photo identification (can include driver’s license, state-issued ID card, U.S. passport with signature, military ID).

Open IDA Letter to Financial Institution Partner

  • This should be signed by you and your Earn to Learn Success Coach.
